Robert De Niro Censored for Saying "F--k Trump" at the Tonys

As soon as the applause died down, the 74-year-old actor started talking again, "its no longer" down with Trump, it's f*** Trump'.

Robert DeNiro stunned the crowd at the Tony Awards Sunday by sending a profanity-filled message to President Donald Trump.

It's not the first time De Niro has spoken out against Trump.

De Niro's declaration was met with a standing ovation from theater-loving attendees, and Stewart wondered what it would have been like if the same comment was made about Obama.

De Niro went on to encourage the audience to vote in November before introducing Springsteen, whose one-man Broadway show is running until December.

The CBS television network, which was broadcasting the event live but with a delay of a few seconds, bleeped out De Niro's expletive.

Director Hideaki Itsuno took the stage at the Xbox E3 2018 briefing to state it's the best action game his team has ever created. Today, that drought comes to an end with the promise of Devil May Cry 5 , the first true Devil May Cry sequel in a decade.

Without any warning, he announced: "I'm gonna say one thing".

When the clapping subsided, De Niro then called on people to vote in the U.S. midterm elections in November and praised Springsteen for his own political activism.

But De Niro stepped up to the mic and chose to get one thing out of the way first. "Boy, do we need that now!" "He talks about how he wants to punch people in the face, well, I'd like to punch him in the face".

Playwright Tony Kushner also shared De Niro's dismay of Trump saying it was a "the Hitler mistake" that put a "borderline psychotic narcissist in the White House".

De Niro won Oscars for his roles in The Godfather: Part II (1974) and Raging Bull (1980).

"This f***ing idiot is the president", De Niro said, according to a transcript from New York Times reporter Sopan Deb. "The offensive language was deleted from the broadcast".
