Dontnod says it'll be revealing Life is odd 2 properly soon, but until then you'll have Captain Spirit to complete. The story of Captain Spirit will have links to the upcoming story of Life is unusual 2. Apprently set within the Life is odd universe, the game sees you playing as Chris and his heroic alter-ego Captain Spirit. Players assume the role of a 10-year-old boy called Chris. Well, while that title is in development, the team will first be joining forces with publisher Square Enix to release a self-contained "narrative Life is unusual experience".

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit follows an imaginative young boy living alone with his father. Near the end of the trailer, we saw Captain Spirit light a firecracker in a snowman's mouth before the scene flashed into Spirit's mind to show him summoning a fireball to destroy the foe in front of him.

Poundworld reported to be considering the appointment of administrators
Other bidders are queuing up however with founder Chris Edwards rumoured to be considering re-acquiring the 355-store chain. Poundworld's losses widened in 2016-17 to £17.1 million, from £5.4m of losses the year before.

According to the developer, this is a standalone title so you won't have to play other games in the series to enjoy it. You will most likely see and discover new content on subsequent playthroughs which you might have previously missed. Launching for free on June 26 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, the Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit basically channels all of our childhoods. According to Dontnod, the game helped it realize the scope of the Life is odd universe and its relatable characters.
