Halo Infinite Announced At Xbox's E3 Briefing

A new "Halo" game was announced on Sunday afternoon: "Halo Infinite" will be the next game in the smash-hit franchise, and it's coming to the Xbox One. Microsoft already allows in-home game streaming with its Xbox console and the Xbox app on the PC and this streaming service is a natural extension of that experience.

We'll keep you updated on any new information on Halo Infinite as it comes during this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo. It's unclear whether Infinite is a direct sequel to Halo 5, or if it's a spin off game. We might see more from EA, Ubisoft, and Activision in addition to whatever Microsoft has cooking behind the scenes. We are taking the time we need to make the right game and are making changes to how we approach things this time around.

Halo Infinite CONFIRMED at Xbox E3 2018 Briefing
This afternoon during Microsoft's E3 2018 Xbox briefing, Halo Infinite was revealed to a very excited, very packed house. The trailer didn't give us much exposition or background at all, but it did show an incredible new world to explore.

A brief teaser was shown, which depicted returning supersoldier Master Chief on what looks like Earth. The goal of the entire 343 Industries team is to make a great Halo game for our fans that also invites new players into our franchise.
