Kingdom Hearts III Release Date Announced

Square Enix revealed during a Kingdom Hearts concert in Los Angeles today that Kingdom Hearts III will come out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the US on January 29, 2019.

Square Enix first announced Kingdom Hearts III in 2013. The official announcement was made on Square Enix's Twitter.

Kingdom Hearts III tells the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure and support each other through hard times. While the game's producer, Tetsuya Nomura apologizes that he and his team need addition time to finish up the game, at the very least the game now has a firm release date.

Power leads in Memphis, Appleby one back
World number two Dustin Johnson is just a shot further adrift after a round of 67, which included a chip-in birdie. Just need to continue to do what I do and obviously a three-peat would be fantastic. "We were all over the place".

Nomura also teases that further information and media (multiple trailers) will arrive further into E3, likely during Square Enix's press conference on Monday. Set in a vast array of Disney worlds, Kingdom Hearts follows the journey of Sora, a young boy and unknowing heir to a spectacular power. The gap between Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts 2 will be just over 13 years.
