UK Foreign Minister Cautions About Brexit 'Meltdown'

Boris Johnson has admitted he "increasingly admires" Donald Trump's approach to global politics, adding the U.S. president's "might get somewhere" if he were to lead Brexit negotiations.

Johnson was speaking on Wednesday at a closed-door gathering at the Institute of Directors in London, an audio recording of which was obtained by BuzzFeed News and published Thursday. But actually you might get somewhere. I don't want anybody to panic during the meltdown.

In his latest indiscreet remarks likely to embarrass Prime Minister Theresa May, Johnson said the government was reaching a phase in negotiations "where we are much more combative with Brussels". "It's going to be all right in the end". No panic. Pro bono publico, no bloody panic.

Mr Johnson said fears about the Irish border were out of proportion, saying: "It's so small and there are so few firms that actually use that border regularly, it's just beyond belief that we're allowing the tail to wag the dog in this way".

Buzzfeed said Johnson was keynote speaker at Conservative Way Forward's summer reception in London, and a select group of 20 people had gone afterwards into a private room for dinner where the foreign secretary was "characteristically ebullient and loose-lipped" on the most pressing policy and political matters facing the United Kingdom government. "It's a very, very good thought", Johnson said, half-jokingly suggesting to outsource the matter to Trump. We're allowing the whole of our agenda to be dictated by this folly'.

Abrams will produce the show via his Bad Robot Productions label, while Bareilles will write and perform original music. Apple continues to cultivate an impressive list of actors and filmmakers for their upcoming streaming service.

Speaking to Tory activists at the event, Johnson said: "I am increasingly admiring of Donald Trump. We need to - and we will". "And they will try to stiff us".

"I have become more and more convinced that there is method in his madness", Johnson said.

During his speech, Johnson touched upon everything from Brexit to Russian Federation and the upcoming summit between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to Buzzfeed.

He said the establishment was seeking to ensure that Brexit "does as little change as possible", with "the risk is that you will end up in an anteroom of the European Union, locked in orbit around the EU".

Johnson predicted that Chinese companies would eventually take over from Silicon Valley as the world's technology giants.
