In honor of the series turning 20, we dug up some fun facts about Sex and the City, from trivia facts about its performers to little secrets involving its iconic looks. If Carrie Bradshaw wore a crop top, we attempted to rock a crop top.

Sex and the City debuted on HBO two decades ago on June 6, 1998 and from that day forward, our attitude towards boundary-pushing fashion, cosmopolitans and bachelors was never the same again. There's a reason we're still talking about the series all these years later.

Whether you were a diehard fan or an occasional viewer, you can't deny the massive impact Sex and the City had on trends and style across the country.

Who could forget the hilarious (but heartbreaking) Post-It breakup, or when Miranda's cleaning lady finds her "goodie" drawer? Some of these scenes made us laugh, and others made us cry, and sometimes, those were the best moments, because they were real.
