Priyanka Chopra faces the flak for Hindu terror plot on 'Quantico'

"Priyanka Chopra, who is now seen in ABC Studios" crime drama Quantico, recently, came under fire over an episode.

"What the hell was this episode of #Quantico. they tried to show "Indian nationalists" (their term) trying to blow up Manhattan to frame Pakistan". The episode had angered many Indian fans of Priyanka.

After the episode, Priyanka Chopra, an Indian, was trolled brutally. Now, ABC Network has offered an apology to the fans over the episode.

Calling the fictional plot a "betrayal" and arguing that such a scenario is improbable if not impossible, a group calling itself "Hindu Americans" is proposing a boycott of her work and of advertisers supporting her work.

USA television studio ABC has apologised to Indian fans of its crime drama "Quantico" after an episode featuring Indian nationalists trying to frame Pakistan in a terrorist plot sparked online outrage against Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, who plays a lead role in the show.

Childhood Cancer Survivors More Prone To Sleep Problems As Adults
The study involved 1,933 childhood cancer survivors enrolled in the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study, 50.8% of whom were female. She added that she made it through the treatment process "only with a lot of help from my family, friends and co-workers".

"The show has featured antagonists of many different ethnicities and backgrounds, but in this case we inadvertently and regrettably stepped into a complex political issue". A recent episode of the show, starring Priyanka Chopra as a Central Intelligence Agency operative, involved a plot in which a disgruntled Indian MIT professor pretended to be a Pakistani national who plots a nuclear attack in NY.

The Blood of Romeo synopsis read, "When a physics professor at a major USA university steals weaponized uranium, the team scrambles to find the professor and the missing uranium before it can be used against an important global summit meeting in New York City". This season, a new showrunner came on board.

For those unaware, due to low ratings, Qauntico has been cancelled by ABC and this season will be its last.

Chopra, 35, is a revered Bollywood star in India, admired for her ability to cross over and achieve success in Hollywood, which has been rare for Indian actors. The season finale, which is the 13th episode, will be the series finale.
