Bandai Namco and DONTNOD announce Twin Mirror, to be released in 2019

Twin Mirror puts you in the shoes of Sam - a dejected, downtrodden man who has returned to his hometown to attend the funeral of his best friend. You must help Sam solve a murder mystery. The project now has a name: Twin Mirror. Not quite as original as Life is Strange - Twin Mirror brings to mind other noir-ish adventure games like Alan Wake, Fahrenheit, and even Deadly Premonition - but I'm certainly willing to give whatever DONTNOD does a chance.

Three days have now passed in PlayStation's countdown to its E3 showcase on June 11. The June 9, 2018 announcement will be a new PlayStation VR game.

Twin Mirror is a psychological thriller wrapped around an investigation where your memories, choices, and relationships will determine Sam's complicated fate. Much like Life is unusual, the game will confront many heavy themes; he must come to terms with heartbreak in a place where "the line between truth and deception is blurred".

"An exciting, story-driven adventure game, Twin Mirror is a compelling journey that explores the elements of choice and hypocrisy, while paving a players' way toward the conclusion of their investigation". One morning Sam wakes up in his motel and finds his short covered in blood with no memories of the night before. "#PS4 #X1 #PC #TwinMirror".

Horn To Crawford's Trainer: You Should Be Petrified of Rushton!
McIntyre - a former professional boxer who was knocked out seven times in 21 fights - should have plenty to say. I was like, "wow that was fast".

Judging from the trailer, Dontnod seem to be aiming for a more photorealistic graphical style, again similar to what we saw with Vampyr, rather than the more stylised visuals of Life is odd.

Twin Mirror isn't the only DONTNOD Entertainment game that could get showcased during E3 2018.

Since the official announcement occured no gameplay footage or screenshots have been revealed of Life Is Strange 2. Expect more at E3.
