Roseanne Barr ‘hiding out’ in Utah after Twitter controversy, show cancellation

TMZ claim producers are looking into making the show centre around the character of Darlene, who is played by Sara Gilbert. John Goodman, reports TMZ, is "very interested".

The talks with production company Carsey-Werner, which owns the show, are preliminary, according to two sources with knowledge of the matter.

As soon as "Roseanne" was canceled earlier this week, people began wondering whether we'd truly seen the last of the show.

A rep for Rey has not spoken out about the Roseanne controversy, but this lovely girl was doing big things before she landed Roseanne.

ABC is reportedly considering rebooting Roseanne without their namesake and now radioactive star Roseanne Barr.

But when news broke, Google began working to calm the nerves of employees and outside critics. Project Maven has been a source of tension within Google.

After initially picking up the ratings juggernaut for an 11th season, ABC made a decision to cancel Roseanne following Barr's tweet about Jarrett, which read, "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj". Roseanne Barr went on a racist rant on Twitter about Valerie Jarrett, an African-American woman who served as a White House aide to former President Obama. But Barr, who has been known to tweet about over-the-top conspiracy theories, has remained active on her Twitter account in recent days.

Roseanne Barr said in another tweetstorm on Thursday and Friday that she "begged" ABC not to cancel Roseanne over her racist tweet. I'd worked doing publicity 4 free for weeks, travelling, thru bronchitis.

Meanwhile, Barr is trying to mend fences with her former cast mates after blasting co-stars Gilbert and Michael Fishman for "throw [ing] me under the bus" for their statements distancing themselves from her. "I begged4 ppls jobs".
