'Game of Thrones' star on what happened while filming final scenes

In a new cover story for Vanity Fair, Clarke just straight up gets real about the Game of Thrones finale, saying she's "doing all this weird sh*t". "Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavour in someone's mouth of what Daenerys is..."

"The first day was obviously the most "pinch me" moment because you're surrounded by so many Star Wars things and you realise that you're in a Star Wars movie".

"It really is the most heartbreaking thing to be filming the last of anything".

"I'll tell him, 'Kit, stop being a d**k - stop being so grumpy, ' like I would with my brother", Clarke, who is also friends with Leslie, says of her and Harington's playful banter on set.

Emilia Clarke can't wait to see what her "Game of Thrones" cohorts David Benioff and D.B.

Er, not really - because apparently, most of Christie's advice centred on Clarke finding some time to chill out (and probably nap) when she wasn't jetting between the Game of Thrones and Solo sets. Solo is enough of a jump for her to stretch her acting chops and play a character that is entirely different from Daenerys in a film that has a chance to be massive. However, as Clarke awaits the release of her debut in another franchise, she's been looking back at her Terminator adventure with some candour. So I was just like, 'F-ck it, it's the last season. Of course, we're here mostly for the Game of Thrones knowledge, about which Clarke was surprisingly forthcoming. I think that they don't even trust us. Also, Qi'ra exists nowhere else in the Star Wars universe.

Getting the go-ahead was great, but now Solo is about to hit theaters and her work on Game of Thrones is done.

The film will show how Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) met his first mate Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) and his hustler pal Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover). "No one had a good time". You all owe me $20 if this happens.
