Donald Glover in Talks for 'Black Panther 2' - Rap-Up

"One of those characters, if he gets his wish, will be played by Childish Gambino [Glover's musical moniker]".

It's unclear if Michael B. Jordan's character, Erik Killmonger, will return.

After the incredible financial success of Black Panther, it's not too surprising that it will be receiving a sequel.

Glover plays a young Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star War Story, which releases this weekend.

What Books Did Harvey Weinstein Carry on His Perp Walk?
Weinstein has denied any wrongdoing, and his lawyer indicated Friday that the movie mogul is pleading not guilty to the charges. Actress Ashley Judd is suing the Hollywood producer , claiming he damaged her career after she rejected his sexual advances.

Recently, Top Dawg Entertainment's Kendrick Lamar revealed his interest in playing a key role when Black Panther 2 goes into production.

The source said that nothing has been set in stone, but that "informal talks" are now taking place between Coogler, Glover and reps from Marvel and Disney. This could be a "he said, she said" that got muddled along the way or maybe Coogler truly has something special up his sleeve for the Black Panther sequel. Unfortunately, this isn't the most likely theory, as Aaron Davis's inclusion in Spider-Man: Homecoming was essentially only used to set up the character Miles Morales.

So, whether Marvel is considering adding Glover to the small group of actors who have multiple roles in the MCU, is lining up Prowler for Black Panther 2's villain, or the report is just pure speculation / poorly-researched guesswork on Metro's behalf, we shall leave to you to decide...

A villain who first emerged as a foe to the Fantastic Four in 1966, Ulysses Klaue had just one big screen outing prior to Black Panther when he sold stolen vibranium to the titular A.I. of Avengers: Age of Ultron. While it would be cool to see Killmonger come back from the dead like he did in the comics, it would ultimately soil one of the greatest death scenes to appear in a Marvel movie. So, consider this news served with a healthy dose of salt. There's always the possibility that Killmonger could return as a sprit bound to the Wakandan afterlife, the Djalia, but it is unlikely he would return as the sequel's primary villain.
