Prince's family and friends are making contributions as well, with a video presentation featuring never-before-seen footage, courtesy of the estate.

A massive list of dates has already been announced for "4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince", with more promised to come for the remainder of 2018 and in 2019.

Tickets are $35-$125 at, 314-534-1111 and at the box office.

"4U" is the first and only official Estate-approved symphonic Prince celebration.

Tickets for "4U" will go on sale Friday, May 25 at 10 a.m.

The concert is a creation of Live Nation Urban and TCG Entertainment.

Questlove has enlisted a hand-picked band to perform alongside a full symphony orchestra for a thoughtfully curated set that will span the hits and lesser-known jams. "Questlove, an avid Prince fan, has helped curate the music and orchestral arrangements that will be played by the symphony", according to a press release.

It's been more than two years since Prince left this plane of existence, but his spirit and his music live on. As the singular, authoritative source on all things Prince, The Prince Estate inspires and educates fans, celebrates Prince in his totality, and stewards Prince's legacy into the future.
