OnePlus 'Bullets Wireless' headphones with fast charging, Google Assistant support launched

The Bullets Wireless also feature magnetic switches.

The Bullets Wireless also supports fast-charging via a USB Type-C.

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless price has been set at $69 (roughly Rs. 4,700), GBP 69 (roughly Rs. 6,300), and Euro 69 (roughly Rs. 5,500), and will be available from June 5.

As far as the audio is concerned, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Earphones come with what's called "Energy Tube" that "absorbs stray sound waves to minimize distortion". This should be great news for users who want a pair of wireless headphones to listen to their favorite songs while working out. Unlike the $159 Apple AirPods, the Bullets Wireless aren't completely wireless. Magnetic Control feature allows users to take control of music, and users can stop/pause the music by simply clipping the Bullets together to magnetically turn them off. Pulling them apart will automatically resume music playback.

This will make it easier for Android device owners to limit their smartphone usage, by setting restrictions. It remains to be seen when Instagram will officially roll out the new tool to users in general.

The integrated magnets in the earbuds also offer additional features. The total battery life is rated at 8 hours. The company has also claimed that a future update will enable the users to answer calls by unclipping the buds.

The headphones are equipped with Bluetooth 4.1 technology for connectivity and use Qualcomm AptX playback technology to offer high-quality audio playback to the users.

Disclosure: OnePlus sponsored Gadgets 360 correspondent's flights and hotel for the launch event in London. The headphones also support Dash Charge fast charging technology that can provide up to 5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging time. There are 9.2mm drivers as well for a richer bass output.

The set will go on sale from 5 June. The first pair launched was the premium-looking V2 Bullets In-Ear Earphones for the OnePlus 3.
