Tenacious D Announces New Album & Tour Dates For 2018

Just last week, Tenacious D announced that they're on track to release a follow-up to their 2006 film, The Pick Of Destiny. While appearing at the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, Georgia, frontman Jack Black revealed that their new movie is set to drop in October. A release date has not yet been determined, but the band said that it "probably" come out sometime this year. They will also be making appearances at this year's Rockfest in Canada and the Foo Fighters' Cal Jam festival in California.

Actor Jack Black and his musical cohort Kyle Gass are bringing their act to Philly's Fillmore on November 8 as part of their first tour in five years.

The album is tentatively titled Post Apocalypto, fitting with the snippet of new music which contains the lyrics, "Apocalypto this is our time to shine".

Pep Guardiola believes Man City can still improve after title-winning season
September's 1-0 defeat of the reigning champions was sealed in spectacular style by De Bruyne. It is fantastic to celebrate with our fans".

There's even more good news, as I alluded to: they haven't confirmed it yet, but it looks like they're trying to have a new album done by the end of this year. Ours is gonna go right there, somewhere in there, and all of the other "supposed rock operas" can suck it!

Tenacious D's album release schedule could definitely be called "infrequent".

This fall, Philadelphia is going to get the D. Tenacious D, that is.
