Nokia X6: What we know so far

The image clearly matches design of the Nokia X listing on the TENAA telecommunications certification site. Recently, HMD Global launched three new smartphones - Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018) in India.

HMD Global, the company that holds the licence to manufacture Nokia branded Android smartphones, has confirmed that some of its a year ago launched smartphones will receive Android P update.

The launch event of the new Nokia X phone is set to begin at 2:40PM CST, which is 12:10PM IST today at the Beijing Minsheng Museum of Modern Art. The launch event will be streamed live on JD.com, Suning.com, and Tmall.com. The company was reportedly teasing the launch of a new smartphone on may 16 and so far, it has only disclosed the front of the smartphone in the teasers. Not only that, the Nokia X6 was also spotted on certification sites like TENNA and Geekbench, the listings of which revealed nearly all the key specs that the phone is expected to come packed with. A recent leak has claimed that the Nokia X6 name is final now. The details suggest that the upcoming device will be priced at 1,499 Yuan (around Rs 13,500). Other variants with more RAM and internal storage are also expected. The pricing details of the 4GB and 6GB RAM is yet to be revealed. Having said that, Nokia X6 when it comes to India will compete against the phones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1.

Williams Leads Pirates Past White Sox
Trevor Williams notched six strikeouts across seven scoreless innings in the Pirates' 7-0 victory over the White Sox on Tuesday. Pittsburgh built its 4-0 first-inning lead on Adam Frazier's homer , Josh Bell's two-run double and Colin Moran's RBI double.


The smartphone is expected to sport a 5.8-inch full-HD+ TFT display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. But we will know more in a couple of hours when HMD Global officially launches the smartphone.

Most likely it will have the latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

The screenshot also reveals that the Nokia X6 will have a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, and the smartphone is seen sporting a glass back, a notch display, and a dual vertical camera setup. But a major retailer e-commerce website Suning.com has revealed that the design of the back panel also, which includes a dual rear camera setup placed vertically on the back. Nokia X6 however may remain China exclusive.
