Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play India launches teased by the company

It's uncertain whether or not the Moto G6 Plus will be launching in the country, but the G6 Play and G6 seem to be on their way.

It has an dual-camera camera setup, which is impressive for a budget smartphone.

Just last month, the Lenovo-owned Motorola announced the launch of its new Moto G series smartphones, including the Moto G6 Play, G6, and the G6 Plus in Brazil. That is terrific news if not for one tiny problem.

Globally, the Moto G6 costs $249 (approximately Rs 16,500) and the G6 Play has the price tag of $199 (Rs 13,000). The device sports dual rear cameras with a 12MP primary and 5MP secondary sensors at the back.

Apart from some design similarities here and there, both the Moto G6 and G6 Play vary in nearly all aspects. The company has officially teased that it will be launching Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in India. The main USP of the Moto G6 Play is its large 4,000mAh battery that comes with TurboCharge support. Overall, it may have a less powerful SoC and cost less than the Moto G6 but it still has a bigger 4000mAh battery.

In addition to the tweet, Motorola has a dedicated microsite for Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play, where users can register themselves to be notified about the launch. As a summary, you should wait for the Moto G6 if you want slightly better performance and you should wait for the Moto G6 Play if you want to experience better battery life. For selfies and video calling, it offers a 5-megapixel front camera with 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture.
