Mindy Kaling, Riz Ahmed want in on Ms Marvel movie

Ms. Marvel or Kamala Khan is a 16-year-old Pakistani American hailing from New Jersey, who tries to overcome the troubles that plague teens in America, and revolves around how life changes for the Muslim gal who is gifted with superhero powers.

He tweeted, "So when do Marvel Studio want me, Mindy Kaling and Kumail Nanjiani to get started on the MsMarvel screenplay?"

Kaling, who can be seen on the big screen in A Wrinkle in Time and the upcoming Ocean's 8, quickly responded to Ahmed's tweet, revealing that she is "obsessed" with Kamala's Ms. Marvel run and loves the character.

Earlier Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige had dropped the hint that there will more to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after the fourth Avengers film hits the cinema.

"Ms. definitely sort of in the works", Feige had said. Khan is Marvel's first Muslim character to headline her own comic book and made her first appearance in Captain Marvel #14 (August 2013) before going on to star in the solo series Ms. Marvel in February 2014.

Myer Q3 sales fall 2.7%
Citi analysts had expected Myer's third quarter sales of $621 million and a comparable sales decline of 3.5 per cent. Online sales, which account for about one twentieth of total sales, surged 49 percent.

"We have plans for that once we've introduced Captain Marvel to the world", he added.

Ms Marvel was created by editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker, writer G Willow Wilson and artist Adrian Alphona.

Khan begins to go by Miss Marvel after Carol Danvers her hero, dons the title of Captain Marvel.

Granted, there's no telling if any of the three will end up being involved with Marvel Studios' Ms. Marvel adaptation, much less when and how we could actually see it released.
