John Abraham to star in Nikkhil Advani's Batla House

Nikkhil Advani added that John Abraham perfectly suits for the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and he pulls of the role very easily. The tabloid quoted the director as saying, "Sanjeev Kumar Yadav wanted a physically and mentally strong actor and John fits the bill". John Abraham is expected to play DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who won eight President Gallantry Awards, which includes one for this operation.

11 years after starring in Nikkhil Advani's anthology romance film Salaam-e-Ishq, actor John Abraham is reuniting with the versatile director for an upcoming film titled Batla House. The film will tell the story of one most-talked about police operations in the recent times, i.e the encounter at L-Batla House. Saif Ali Khan was earlier rumoured to be playing the role.

The report further mentioned that John Abraham has been roped in for the film. What followed was a nail-biting encounter, during which two cops and two suspected terrorists were killed. With a little light on him and a flash of those dimples, John stands out in a crowd. Were the five boys inside the building really terrorists or were they students? The operation was led by Mohan Chand Sharma, who succumbed to injuries sustained during the shootout with the terrorists. "The biggest challenge will be to make him blend in". "We have been doing research on the subject of Batla House for four years, we have NOC from everybody". He mentioned that the encounter case will be seen from three different perspectives, one of the police, one of those present at the location and the real picture.

No, the Next STAR WARS Spin-Off Won't Focus on LANDO CALRISSIAN
What Kennedy actually said was Lucasfilm would love to eventually make a Lando spin-off one day, but this is now not a priority. Even Premiere and ComicBook both note the long-gestating chatter around an Obi-Wan film.

Talking about the Movie, Nikkhil Advani said to the Ahmedabad Mirror that the movie will showcase the encounter from 3 angles.

Meanwhile, John is geared up for the release of his home-production "Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran".
