EA Confirms Battlefield V Live Reveal for May 23, Provides Streaming Outlets

Noah doesn't actually say that it's Battlefield 5, referring to the event only as a "Battlefield live reveal".

Although there's no telling exactly what will be shown off during next week's reveal for Battlefield V, it's a safe bet to make that the official unveiling will mostly revolve around a highly polished trailer created to highlight the cleanest-looking visuals developed so far. The livestreams have already been posted and scheduled, so you'll be able to watch in all the usual ways.

So that you know, the next Battlefield game was rumored to be different than Battlefield 1. The presence of Mixer is odd. Most game developers don't bother with the platform just yet.

Expect to see a lot more about Battlefield 2018 at E3 2018 next month. "Tune in on May 23 for a first look into how your epic journey with Battlefield V will be".

Google Rolls Back Chrome Browser Update That Broke Web Games And Apps
Google now plans on re-introducing the restrictions in Chrome 70, but the Chrome team is looking into other options as well. But the feature reportedly also silenced the audio in web-based games.

The teaser site was discovered last week in a Battlefield 1 Easter Egg.

The game was officially revealed to have a single-player campaign in addition to multiple maps and modes for multiplayer. I don't think that's terribly likely, but a battle royale mode?

"This will be a deep and fully-featured shooter and ongoing service that will evolve with major new experiences for our community, beginning right from launch". Given the rumblings we've heard recently, I'm almost willing to put money down on that being a reference to a new battle royale mode.
