Christine Lampard announces she's pregnant with first baby

And 39-year-old Christine has also revealed how she's feeling ahead of the birth of her first child with former footballer Frank. The Lampard family is growing!

The Loose Women panelist then reposted the picture to her own account, commenting: "The Lampard family are expanding!" I feel SO excited, nervous and grateful! "The list of emotions is endless".

Christine is already stepmum to Frank's two girls, Luna, 12 and Isla, 11, who she has been helping raise since the pair met in 2009. "My gorgeous wife Christine is pregnant and we all couldn't be happier!"

Alongside the family announcement, Frank, 39, posted a picture of him and Christine posing alongside his two children, born from a previous relationship.

"I love children. If we were lucky enough it would be wonderful", the Loose Women panellist told new! magazine.

"Purely because I have so many friends who have been through bad struggles to have little babies and you just don't know what's going on behind closed doors and what's going on in other people's lives".

Brunette beauty Christine began her TV career on long-running BBC Northern Ireland comedy Give My Head Peace before moving on to hosting the likes of Children in Need and Let Me Entertain You, alongside Brian Conley.

"I am always being asked when I am going to have a baby".

"As far as I am concerned, my attitude is that I will wait and see what happens". I'm not pushing myself, I'm not getting stressed or unhappy'.

However, she was firm in her view that the couple would not go down the route of IVF, as she does not want to put any strain on their relationship. "If it happens, it happens, but right now all is well in my world as it is".
