Arlo Security Light is wire-free and works with security cameras

Netgear released the Arlo Security Light System smart lighting product, a new addition to its Arlo Smart Home Security product portfolio. The model has an LED light and customization features that include flashing and changing colors.

The battery-operated security light offers motion detection as well as manual control, meaning you don't need to wire in your light to the mains, which is a massive bonus for less practical users. Created to illuminate dark, outdoor areas around the perimeter of homes and commercial properties, the Arlo Security Light System allows users to receive alerts whenever motion is detected and manage their system via the Arlo mobile app. The bridge by itself and the dd-on light will require the security light system to be set up, so the light or the bridge will do nothing for you if you don't already have the system in place.

The Arlo range consists of various security cameras from the original Arlo, the Arlo Go, Arlo Pro 2 and Arlo Baby.

Arlo Security Light can be controlled using Amazon Alexa and voice commands, as well as the Arlo app. Alerts are provided via push notifications and email.
