Xiaomi brings three Google Assistant smart home devices to the US

Xiaomi brings three Google Assistant smart home devices to the US

Known for providing a range of smartphones, Xiaomi has now introduced support for the popular Google Assistant on its smart home devices in a bid to penetrate the USA market.

The initially supported products will include the Mi Bedside Lamp, Mi LED Smart Bulb, and Mi Smart Plug, the latter of which is expected to find their way into the USA market soon. Each of these smart products can now be controlled via voice through Google Assistant. Xiaomi, which boasts home country China and India are one of its top markets is ambitious about the USA market where giants Google and Apple are the dominating force.

The Mi Bedside Lamp can be customised with 16 million colours.

We'll be keeping a close eye out for this smart home USA launch, don't you worry. This is just the beginning, though, as the company plans to further expand its presence in the American market.

Kia to introduce 48v mild-hybrid diesel technology
Kia already has hybrid, electric and plug-in hybrid models on sale in the UK. The powertrain will also be adapted for use in gasoline engines.

Known for providing a range of smartphones, Xiaomi has now introduced support for the popular. But, in equally interesting news, it also said it will be launching some of those here in the U.S.in the near future. Xiaomi sells a few products here in the States, though none of them are phones.

The Chinese company has already built a presence in Europe, Africa, and Asia, including India where it beat Samsung in sales.

Of equal importance, however, is the mention of a USA launch. Furthermore, the concerns about Chinese smartphone manufacturers, such as Huawei and ZTE, will make it even harder to get a grip in the industry.
