Steve Bruce: Play-offs 'won't faze big guns' at Aston Villa

Egyptian midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady is Aston Villa's only injury concern ahead of the Championship play-off second leg against Middlesbrough.

Bruce was appointed in October 2016, with Villa 19th, and has previously questioned the mentality and ability of some players to handle the pressure - although he expects no problems on Tuesday.

"There's an expectancy with a big club, big history - you need big players".

Boss Steve Bruce has suggested he is a "big doubt" after going off in the closing stages of the first leg.

"[Ahmed] El Mohamady, [Glenn] Whelan, John Terry, Jedinak, James Chester and Robert Snodgrass - all people who've been there, worn the t-shirt. There's been a lot of players here over the years that have struggled to come to terms with playing for a big club".

Police probe whether Autopilot feature was on in Tesla crash
Tesla said it had not received any data from the Model S in the crash and could not confirm if the Autopilot was actually engaged. The US' National Transport Safety Board is investigating after the crash in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on 8 May.

'We've given ourselves an advantage, we're playing against a very experienced team and experienced manager.

Manager Tony Pulis will be counting on his best player Adama Traore to inspire his side to success, but with the hosts bound to crowd out the Spanish winger like they did during the first leg, the Boro boss has a plan B for his attack.

If we go up, I'm staying.

"That's the most important thing - that we turn up and we're a little bit more clinical in the final third - that was the only real negative, apart from conceding from a set play, of the game on Saturday". If we bring our A-game to Villa Park and we get the breaks and we get the run of the ball - which I don't think we did have on Saturday - then who knows? "That would have given them the opportunity to have created chances, so he has to understand that and make the most of it".
