Rumor: Pokemon Switch Leak Reveals Game Name, Pikachu and Eevee Focus

Last year, Nintendo launched the 'Project Eevee' Twitter account, which exclusively focuses on the floppy-eared Pokemon. Since then everyone has been waiting for an announcement regarding Pokemon Nintendo Switch but it seemed like it will not happen any soon until today. With a name like Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu being similar to Pokemon GO and other features of the title seemingly derived from the popular mobile title, could this leak end up becoming true? The reason for Pokemon on Nintendo Switch to take cues from Pokemon Go has to with the tremendous success seen by the latter.

We know that new Pokemon games are coming to the Nintendo Switch, but we don't have many details beyond that.

Emily Rogers has proven to be a reliable source of rumors in the past. "Would Nintendo ever dare to create more Pokemon Go accessories like that - possibly even for the Switch?" her post continues.

An alleged Pokemon Switch leak has potentially outed the name of the upcoming RPG, with a logo for the game reportedly surfacing online. It's possible that this image is completely fake, but it's easy to see how it could lead some people to believe that Pokemon for Switch will be Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee as rumored.

According to the company they have spent a lifetime with portable consoles and canonical pokemon and now they think is the flawless time to take a leap by taking it to the eighth generation.
