PGA star allegedly attacked by wife after bad round

It's all in a police report obtained by TMZ Sports. which says cops in Jacksonville, Florida were called to a rented house where Glover and his wife and mother were staying. Lucas told deputies "when he plays a bad round of golf, Krista proceeds to start an altercation with him and telling him how he is a loser and a p***y, how he needs to fire everyone, and how he'd better win or her and the kids would leave him and he would never see the kids again".

Krista Glover, wife of PGA Tour pro Lucas Glover, was arrested in Ponte Vedra, Fla., during the Players Championship for domestic violence and resisting arrest, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Hershey said in her statement to police that she tried to stop an "altercation" between the couple at which point Krista began "striking Hershey in her arm".

Saturday night, however, Lucas allegedly told deputies he was exhausted of all the altercations with his wife and couldn't take it anymore.

Krista forcefully attempted to escape as she was escorted to the police auto, "screaming while forcefully kicking the rear driver's side door" and causing damage to the vehicle, according to the report. A document from the St. Johns County Sheriff's department states Lucas was berated by his wife for his poor play (he shot a third-round 78 for a MDF-made cut, did not finish).

Krista Conley Glover, 36, who is golfer Lucas Glover's wife, was charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor resisting arrest, according to her arrest report.

The 38-year-old golfer, however, tried to convince officers not to take his wife to the slammer, according to the Daily Mail.

China Sichuan Airlines flight makes emergency landing after co-pilot 'sucked' out window
The Sichuan Airlines Airbus A319 left Chongqing on Monday morning and had just reached cruising altitude when disaster struck. Mobile phone footage emerged online showing flight attendants asking passengers to wear oxygen masks and put on safety belts.

When Lucas's mother was interviewed, she told deputies she tried to stop a loud argument between husband and wife over the golfer's performance, but Krista turned against her and hit her repeatedly. She wrapped her legs and feet around the door and frame of the auto, preventing the lower half of her body from getting into the vehicle.

"Wait till the tour hears about this", Krista reportedly said.

"Regrettably, although Krista was charged, we are comfortable that the judicial system is able to address what actually happened", the statement said in part.

GOLF.com has reached out to Glover's agent for additional comment.

Krista was released Sunday on $2,500-bond. "We are aware of the situation and Lucas informed us of his statement, which has since been posted to his Twitter account".

He and Krista live in Jupiter and were married in 2012.
