Loveland-area weather: Chance of severe thunderstorms

The unsettled weather will continue into the middle of the week with mostly cloudy skies on Wednesday with the chance for showers and storms. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 miles per hour in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. High near 84. Southeast wind 6 to 9 miles per hour. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Also, high temperatures will be in the 70s and lower 80s, with overnight low temperatures in the 50s to 60s. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday in the Omaha area is forecast to be most sunny with a high around 80. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. It's not entirely stationary, as it will occasionally drift north and then back south this week, but it's the reason for the daily chances for showers or thunderstorms.
