Bayonetta Dev PlatinumGames Reveals They're Working on an Unannounced Top Secret Project

During a panel at Bitsummit, Bayonetta developer PlatinumGames developers Hideki Kamiya and Atsushi Inaba answered a few questions regarding the upcoming catalogue of releases from the company.

Platinum Games is known for its over the top action games, which have often resulted in some of the most appreciated titles spanned over the course of different years and platforms thanks to a very open approach to the development process.

Speaking of actions games, the pair at one point where asked whether a ideal action game exists, and while Inaba was doubtful one does or ever will, Kamiya name-dropped Castlevania is a game that comes to mind. No more information was forthcoming or even hinted at, with the project being so secretive that most of PlatinumGames' own employees don't know the details.
