And, to celebrate the grand union, a resort in Windsor made great efforts to pay their tribute by creating a miniature version of the royal wedding using almost 37,000 Lego bricks. This isn't the only royal wedding-related story doing the rounds, as Legoland Windsor has created a handsome miniature model of the wedding, complete with a miniature Windsor Castle.

Team members at the toy company created LEGOLAND Windsor Resort complete with characters for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the groom and bride-to-be, respectively.

Oh, and if you're itching to go see the Lego version of the royal wedding, it's on show at Legoland Windsor form today until November 2018.

Despite being situated just five kilometres from the real castle, it's the first time that Windsor Castle has been added to the resort's Miniland attraction. There are also miniature versions of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Queen Elizabeth, the Royal Family, and even singer Elton John.
