DC United confirm Rooney talks

Neither Everton nor Rooney's agents were available for comment, while sources at DC United said they did not comment on player speculation.

Rooney, Everton's leading goalscorer this season, has become increasingly frustrated with a reduced role under Allardyce.

The England legend is subject to a reported £12 million move to Major League Soccer franchise DC United when the current Premier League campaign ends, but the Toffees boss claims nothing has been finalised in that regard.

Everton manager Sam Allardyce said Wayne Rooney has not asked to leave the club but admitted there have been negotiations over a possible move to DC United in the MLS.

"If the player wants to go - if any player wants to leave - then I'm comfortable with that", Allardyce said.

Google will require OEMs to regularly deliver security updates
Only a handful of OEMs are known to deliver timely updates, and some companies lie to users entirely. Google still rolls out patches nearly every month but OEMs fail to push them out to the devices.

Everton ace Theo Walcott hopes his team-mate stays at Goodison Park this summer.

It's looking increasingly likely that Wayne Rooney is about to add a third club to his CV.

Speaking on Sky Sports' 'The Debate', Bellamy believes that a move stateside would be more harmonious with Rooney's lifestyle and better for his family, as Glasgow is a "tough city" he says.

"I've always looked at Wayne Rooney as someone who just wants to play football, wants to get on the ball, touch the ball 40, 50, 60, 70 times and sometimes that has been his Achilles heel". All I know is that there appears to be an interest from D.C. United - where that is and where that lies and where Wayne lies with it, I can't tell you at the moment.

"A lot of people will be saying "you don't have to explain yourself, don't feel like you have to do this" etc, I know I don't, but I am and I want to", she wrote in a lengthy statement on social media. They are keen for Rooney's arrival to coincide with the unveiling of their new arena - the Audi Field Stadium - on July 14.
