Arkansas day care worker asks children to throw rocks at boy to teach him a lesson

An Arkansas teacher is under fire after reportedly telling students to pelt one of their peers with rocks to teach him a lesson.

According to a police report, a former day care employee said another worker allowed several children to throw rocks at a three-year-old as a form of discipline.

According to WHBQ, the alleged incident took place at the center in April, and was purportedly caught on video by a fellow teacher, who later took the footage to police.

A teacher at an Arkansas daycare is under investigation by police after a heartbreaking video showed a child crying in pain as other children pelted him with rocks.

Police said they were sent a video filmed on another teacher's phone showing six students at Teach N Tend Daycare hurling rocks at a four-year-old.

The child - which WHBQ reported was approximately four years old - would not listen, according to the whistleblower's account, and instead, chose to throw rocks at the ground.

The teacher who allegedly egged on the students to hurl rocks has been interviewed by police.

The former employee who filed the report said she witnessed similar incidents.

A police officers who saw the video said: 'I observed approximately 6 toddlers throwing rocks at a white male toddler.

Child services is also investigating. Asked about the video, the owner said any other comment would have to come home from her attorney.
