Romario's sage advice for Jesus

Romario's sage advice for Jesus

He said: "Have enough sex is one piece of advice - as is making the most you can with your days off".

So, uhh, yeah, there you have it.

Romario, who is now a senator in Brazil's capital, Rio De Janeiro was a pivotal member of the U.S. 1994 World Cup winning squad.

Brazil legend Romario has told Gabriel Jesus to make sure he has plenty of sex during this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation.

So to recap, success at the World Cup requires players to score both on and off the pitch. Sounds like a plan to us, Romario.

Romario was Brazil's star in the 1994 FIFA World Cup in U.S., scoring five goals, including one against Netherlands in the quarter-finals and a match-winner against Sweden in the semi-finals.

Malaysia's jailed opposition figure Anwar Ibrahim set to be pardoned
Without it, he would be banned from political life for five years. "He should be released immediately when he is pardoned". Reporters and Anwar supporters gathered outside a hospital in Kuala Lumpur where he is recovering from a shoulder surgery.

The 21-year-old Manchester City Striker won his first Premier League title with Cityzens, netting 12 goals and providing 4 assists in his first full season at the Etihad. "That's the most important thing!" he said. Jesus has been likened to Romario and built up as a key player for Brazil.

Although he only appeared in two World Cups and played just half a game in 1990 Romario was star of the show in the United States, where Brazil scooped their fourth world title after a 24-year drought.

"The World Cup is a totally different competition from the rest, in which you have been 100 per cent focused and push all your problems aside, otherwise you aren't going to have the best Cup possible", he added.

'It is good that he is playing in Europe because maybe 80 or 90 percent of the best players in the world play there and he will have faced them already.

He's since featured 14 more times for Brazil, bagging seven goals bringing him an overall tally of nine goals in 15 appearances (or once every 130 minutes).
