Audi plans on selling 800000 electrified cars in 2025

It will roll out more than 20 electric and hybrid cars by 2025, with pure-electric versions accounting for the largest chunk. In this meeting, Audi shareholders have announced a plan to significantly increase sales of electrified cars in the year 2025. That's an impressive ramp.

Audi will be marching on green pastures by the middle of this year. "With our technological excellence, we are utilizing our Vorsprung and lifting electric mobility to the next level". In China, Audi SUVs will be available for the first time as long-wheelbase versions: the Q2 L and the Q5 L. By the end of 2019, Audi will launch a total of 11 new SUVs, including further models without predecessors such as the Audi Q4, which is to be launched next year.

While the vehicles themselves are changing, Audi is also changing their relationship to the customer.

And Audi plans to get rolling later this year with the commercial debut of the e-tron SUV, which will be a part of the brand's larger e-tron lineup mirroring the electric and hybrid sub-brands launched by other automakers. "This will allow Audi to protect its high margins despite significant investments". This unit will provide a single direction for the planning, implementation and operation of digital products, and is thus establishing digital value added organizationally at the same level as the existing core business. For this goal, Audi is also developing an integrated IT platform for vehicle connectivity and digital services.

A German automobile manufacturer and member of Volkswagen Group, Audi has set the goal for itself only.

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Forms Wedge Up at $97.91
It is negative, as 39 investors sold MSFT shares while 1012 reduced holdings. 676 grew holdings while 134 funds bought holdings. UBS set a $110.00 price target on Microsoft and gave the stock a "buy" rating in a research note on Thursday, February 1st.

The company plans to offer a new electronics platform in its cars that will work somewhat like Tesla's over-the-air updates and allow users to pay for and download apps that will enable features such as blind-spot monitors or digital infotainment features such as Waze or Tune-In radio after the vehicle has been delivered. "That is our clear ambition for the mobility of the future", points out Alexander Seitz, Member of the Board of Management for Finance, IT and Integrity.

Aside from EVs, Audi is on track with a product blitz that will see 20 new market launches through the end of 2018 alone.

For the first time, the production version of the e-tron prototype offers Audi customers the possibility to flexibly book functions such as driver assistance systems or infotainment features also after the vehicle is bought. In addition to the Modular Electric Toolkit developed by Volkswagen for the compact segment, Audi and Porsche are joining forces to implement the premium-architecture electrification for mid-range, full-size and luxury-class electric cars.

Audi unveiled the prototype of the all-electric Sportsback a year ago with plans to launch it in 2019 and it talked about an electric sedan coming in 2020.
