Morata set to return for Chelsea

Alvaro Morata has agreed a deal to sign for Juventus from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Blues have struggled in front of goal all season long as they have only managed to score 64 goals in 36 English topflight matches.

Morata enjoyed two successful seasons with Juventus on loan from Real Madrid, where he won two consecutive Serie A and Coppa Italia trophies.

The 25-year-old is reportedly on the verge of sealing a move back to former club Juventus, although the Italian champions are unwilling to pay any more than £60m for the striker.

Meanwhile, it's Cavani, 31, could be recruited on a two-year loan with a mandatory option to purchase in 2020, although that seems hard to imagine given PSG wouldn't have much to gain from doing so.

Despite Cavani leading both the PSG and Ligue 1 scoring charts, the Parisians are happy to cash-in on the 31-year-old following a series of clashes with world-record signing Neymar - on the condition that they too find a replacement for their departing striker, with Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski heavily linked.

Chelsea have already made an approach to PSG but they are not the only interested suitors as Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also keeping tabs on his situation.

The Uruguay global moved to the Parc Des Princes in the summer of 2013 and he has scored 116 goals in 165 appearances.

Chelsea's summer transfer window could be one of the most important in recent years, with Manchester City way ahead of the rest and clubs like Liverpool, United and Arsenal all seemingly set to spend big again, the Blues will need to be ambitious if they want to challenge for the title again next year.
