The selectors have also recalled Siddharth Kaul into the ODI side following an impressive run in the IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Bengal batsman, who last played for India in 2015, may not have had an impactful IPL yet, but he sure racked up the runs in the Vijay Hazare trophy earlier. He made his worldwide debut in 2013, and has, till date, played 34 ODIs, averaging more than 50 with 1055 runs. In 10 matches past year, he had picked up 16 wickets.

On Monday, after SRH defended another low total, RCB skipper Virat Kohli doffed his hat to the best bowling attack in the IPL. An India call-up, after the last two seasons, was imminent.

India play England at Trent Bridge on July 12, followed by matches at Lord's two days later and Headingley on July 17 prior to a five-match Test series against the hosts.

KL Rahul, who scored 376 runs in his first nine games for Kings XI Punjab, has also been included for three ODI matches in England.

He had a mediocre ODI series in South Africa where he scored 140 runs in 6 matches with a highest score of 79 not out.

Missing again are senior spin twins Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja even as Washington Sundar, in and out of Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore team, pipped Mumbai Indians' Krunal Pandya for the third spinner's slot in both the ODI and T20 squads.
